Burning and Longing¶
Soft hands move across my sensitive chest
A room filled with others, but I ignore the rest
She looks at me with a starved look in her eyes
There remains no reason to ask why, no more lies.
Each burns for the others attention
Lost in pure lust, a spreading affliction
His grip on her wrist grows tighter each moment
Until she finally groans and begs for elopement.
They walk hand-in-hand across a charcoal street
Caring not what they see or strangers they meet
He lifts her once more launching her feet
And carries her to the bedroom where they were destined to meet.
Slowly he removes each thin article of clothing
With each passing moment she bends to longing
She can take no more and reveals his bare body.
Taking him in, relieving all tension.
It was a burning longing that neither could resist
A moment of lust to which their bodies insist,
On merging to one if only for an instant
